Himanshu Bagde, brings 20 years practical wildlife experiences cumulating in mapping more than 350 different tigers and a huge variety of flora and fauna throughout India. An acclaimed photographer, he has won awards at global competitions organised by Sanctuary Asia. He is an active wildlife conservationist who keenly participates in india’s forest department census, community development and welfare initiatives. He is part of the government’s forest department anti-poaching patrol squad.

Lonely Planet’s Collector’s Edition 2017 features Himanshu and Tadoba’s pre-eminent Tigress – Maya. Himanshu was the first person to predict Maya’s meteoric rise as the Queen of Tadoba from the time she was a cub. All jungle safaris and treks, bird watching and tribal village trips are structured to ensure each one is the most exciting, eventful and memorable possible.

With varied interest ranging from consulting, finance, defense, business development to hospitality, Sagar brings in his varied experience of 18 years to Aranya which optimizes the client experience while they soak nature and wildlife during their stay. Mentoring Aranya right from its inception has what made Sagar to get involved into Aranya very closely!

Sagar is also a Chartered Accountant by Profession.
